StoryClub ("we", "us", "our") is a personalised children's story service operated from the United Kingdom. By creating an account or using our service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

These terms apply to all users of app.storyclub.io. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

StoryClub allows parents and guardians to generate personalised illustrated stories for their children. Stories are created using artificial intelligence based on information you provide about your child, such as their name, age, and appearance.

Each story is generated on demand and is unique. Story content may vary and we cannot guarantee specific narrative outcomes.

The service is intended for use by adults (18 and over) acting on behalf of a child. You must not allow a child to create or manage an account directly.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, are used fraudulently, or are inactive for an extended period. Where possible, we will give you notice before taking such action.

Stories are purchased using credits. Credits are bought in packs and deducted at the point a story is successfully generated.

Credits do not expire. They are non-transferable and tied to your account.

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable.

If a story fails to generate due to a technical error on our part, the credit used for that attempt will be returned to your account automatically.

We do not offer cash refunds for purchased credit packs once payment has been taken, except where required by law. If you have concerns about a purchase, please contact us at storyclubio@outlook.com and we will do our best to help.

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel a purchase within 14 days. However, by requesting immediate generation of a story after purchase, you acknowledge that the digital service begins immediately and that this right is waived for credits already used.

You retain ownership of the information you provide (such as your child's name and details). By providing this information, you grant us permission to use it solely for the purpose of generating your stories.

You own the stories generated for your account. You may download, print, and share them for personal, non-commercial use. You may not resell, redistribute, or use them for commercial purposes without our written permission.

You agree not to:

• Use the service to generate content that is harmful, offensive, or illegal
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate use of the service
• Share account access with others outside your household
• Provide false information when creating a child profile
• Use the service for any commercial purpose without our permission

We reserve the right to refuse story generation requests that we deem inappropriate, and to suspend accounts in breach of these terms.

We aim to keep StoryClub available at all times, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control.

We may update, change, or discontinue features of the service at any time. Where changes are significant, we will give reasonable notice by email.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, StoryClub is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated story content. Stories are generated automatically and may contain errors or unexpected results. Please review stories before sharing them with your child.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with the service will not exceed the total amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Your use of StoryClub is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and handle your personal data.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email of any significant changes. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
